La charte éthique et déontologique sont tirées du the International Center of Coaches (French) et adaptée par Blossom Project Coaching following a few rules from the social worker's deontological chart, written by l’ANAS.


Clause 1 - Coaching Duties

1.1 Her education, certification, and experience allows the coach to work as one.

1.2 The coach has previously worked on herself deeply, apart from the education courses.

1.3 The coach has to be aware of the evolutions of the working techniques she is using. She has to be in a lifelong learning to be able to offer better services to her clients.

1.4 The coach has to be supervised by a peer or another type of professional to stay neutral about her work.

1.5 La relation coach-coaché.e est strictement professionnelle lors et hors des séances.

Clause 2 - Respect of people's rights

2.1 The coach refers to decreed principles by national, Europeans and international laws about respecting people's fundamental rights, their dignity, their freedom and their protection.

She has to respect their autonomy and their possibility of information, their ability of judging and deciding.

2.2 She respects the fundamental principle that no one is to reveal whatsoever on themselves.

2.3 The coach has to adapt her techniques to the stages of development of her client.

2.4 The coach doesn't have the right to misuse a professional relationship for personal goals, Being aware of her position, it is forbidden to abuse of her influence.

Clause 3 - Terms of Privacy

3.1 The coach is compelled by Professional Confidentiality. All information shared by the client is strictly treated as confidential. She takes all the measures to maintain the anonymity of the people who are seen, and she doesn't give any information about them to third parties without the consent of the client.

However, the client is informed that in serious circumstances that put them in danger or others, the coach has to inform the competent authorities.

3.2 The coach has to be discrete upon the information she may share about her job during interviews or conferences to avoid any risk or recognition of her clients by others; or using those informations for media purpose.

Clause 4 - Responsibility

4.1 Before any appointment, the coach has to be sure about the free consent of those who ask for a coaching. For example, she has to inform them clearly about the goals, the methods and the limits of her work.

4.2 The coach decides which methods and techniques she will use in her work. It can be pre-existing methods or ones made by herself.

She can have different missions and functions. She has to show the differences between them and make it clear to her clients.

4.3 Whatever the context and potential pressure she would have, the coach has to be cautious, moderated, perceiving, impartial and responsible.

Clause 5 - Due Care

5.1 Following the request of the client on the first place, the coach has to put all efforts to reach their personal development with or without the help of a colleague.

5.2 Le coaching est une technique de développement personnel. Par conséquent, la coach laisse toute responsabilité de ses décisions au/à la coaché.e.

Clause 6 - Request Refusal

The coach has the right to refuse a request specific to herself or because of the client's behaviour (aggressivity, insulting behaviour, threatening etc.)
